We represent a global market leader in the Process Automation / O&G industry, owning some of the world's most advanced research and laboratory centres, with growing sales & revenues (multi-billion dollar revenue) and a strong working culture. Their unique pipeline of products makes them one of the most rewarding employers to work for. With their on-going expansion plans in the Asia-Pacific Region, we are seeking a Regional Supply Chain Director to spearhead all initiatives in APAC with the aim of aligning the Global Supply Chain directives and push for maximum impact to APAC.

You will be involved in:
● Driving procuurement projects relating to NPI, supplier consolidation, localization of components and indirect material sourcing
● Ensuring that Supply Chain processes are implemented on a timely basis, and improving these processes such that costs, performance and quality standards are exceeded
● Developing a comprehensive sourcing strategy to be implemented across Asia with the aim of improving the cost, supplier performance and leverage across the APAC sites
● Working closely with suppliers and improving current programs so that lead time and speed would be improved
● Assessing the APAC Supply Chain team to improve efficiency by providing training expertise, developing succession plans and ensuring compliance to both local and internal regulations
● Negotiating contracts within the region to ensure that advantageous terms and rates are provided by the key critical suppliers

To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
● A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management andd Procurement within the Process Automation / O&G industry
● Strong knowledge of the Process Automation industry, with a proven track record of identifying BCCs across commodities used in the O&G industry (Valves / Castings / Actuators / Machined Parts)
● Strong competence in improving Supplier Development programs with the aim of buildding relationships with critical suppliers
● Excellent track record in coming up with sourcing strategies across various commodities within the O&G industry
● Ability to travel within the APAC region
